Wonderful World of Wyatt (WWW) 4.0

Well, our main man has just turned 12 weeks old and he is growing way too fast.  He is now slightly bigger than Ginger and her ears fit quite nicely in his mouth.  The two have bonded nicely and seem to be getting along quite well now.  I think Ginger has totally accepted her new little brother as a included picture will tell this week.

Wyatt visited the Vet this past week and received a few shots and the royal treatment.  The whole gang went for the appointment including Ginger who got some special treatment of her own. This a new vet for us as we switched due to their acceptance of the raw diet. They had concerns, but hopefully they are now put to rest based upon Patty supplying the ingredients to her food. Wyatt weighed just over 17lbs. and is a growing boy. He has a great appetite and eagerly awaits for his food. He is still a fluff ball with awesome puppy breath.  If anyone figures out how to keep puppy breath forever, you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams.

Training is going well. Speaking of food, Wyatt is really good now about waiting to be told to eat. His potty training is really successful in that he always goes when let out, but doesn't automatically go to the door yet to go outside. We are also working on now jumping up on people and things.  This is coming along albeit slowly (for me).  He is very smart however and it picking things up surprisingly fast.  At this point, it is just a lot of Pete and Re-Pete. He is also doing very well on the leash.  At this point, he is no longer crossing in front of me when we walk.  The tripping factor is all but eliminated.

Wyatt is getting used to us and his new home.  He has calmed down quite a bit now and even relaxes frequently.  I'm glad, because I need rest as well... he is a growing boy and I'm a growing older boy.  I think we each enjoy our naps.

Wyatt continues his outings to meet and greet people.  When I got to coffee without him, all people want to know is where is Wyatt?  It's great to be loved (and forgotten - thanks friends) Anyway, he is very social and most people can't resist wanting to pet him. His fur is still very soft and the baths he gets make him even softer.

This is a wrap for this week.  Stay tuned for adventures with Wyatt.  Until next time:  Woof!
